VISUAL LOOKBOOK & AESTHETIC
-
Not a static haze, but a ground-swallowing mist that erases the horizon. It creates a natural, claustrophobic "shallows" where the world only exists three feet in front of the Nomad.
-
High-altitude, wide-angle photography of a vast, white-out landscape. A solitary speck of iron and wool navigating an infinite sea of fog.
-
1975 Dark Fantasy. High-contrast Chiaroscuro. Heavy, textured grain of 35mm film.
-
High-dynamic-range digital with bespoke film-grain overlay and “Analog Bloom” in post.
-
The grit of The Northman with the calculated precision of 70s genre cinema.
THE KOBOLD
-
The Presence: A low-crawl, high-velocity creature of sharp angles and obsidian skin that uses mist as a weapon.
The Conflict: As the Nomad’s "Shadow," the Kobold feeds on the debris of conflict. He is a scavenger of the soul who stalks the "hazy" — those lost in the mist of their own pasts — waiting to acquire the very identity the Nomad is desperately trying to unmake.
The Sound: Moves with a distinct metallic clicking sound created by his sharp metal teeth. Drives suspense due to low visibility in the fog.
